Presented by Pure Country Spectacular Showcase
The Pure Country Spectacular Show has quickly grown with its own success, offering the audience a true and pure country entertainment experience, whilst showcasing many incredible artists. This year however, we go one step further to shine the spotlight on an entertainer who we feel deserves the first of our artist feature shows.
After appearing at the two previous Pure Country Spectacular’s, Roo has had the audience wowed, and with so many requests from fans to see more of him, more you will have! You will still get what you have come to expect from the Pure Country Spectacular Show but this year there’ll be more. Still plenty of incredibly talented artists that are carefully chosen, the best of the best hand-picked band, which of course includes fiddle and steel and a fun-loving crowd of country fans.
2016 Golden Guitar Award Finalist for ‘Male Artist of the Year’ and ‘Toyota Heritage Song of the Year’. Roo Arcus made his return to the country music industry in 2012, after an eight year hiatus, with the stunning ‘comeback’ album ‘This Here Cowboy’ that resulted in two massive #1 radio hits. January 2015 saw the release of the critically acclaimed album ‘Cowboys & Sunsets’ recorded in the US and produced by Grammy award winning Jerry Salley, featuring a duet with America’s Queen of Bluegrass… Rhonda Vincent. Since his return, Roo has toured and played most the major festivals of Australia and has twice been an official CMA artist in Nashville, USA. From Tennessee to Tamworth, Roo’s authentic country sound has been welcomed by many. Rave reviews from UK magazine ‘Country Music People, savingcountrymusic.com, front cover of Italy’s ‘Cowboys’ magazine… and widespread radio airplay across the globe. Roo is now working with Texas based business ‘Live Global Stream’ and is a star of the ‘HillbilliesVille Reality’ series. It seems the world is catching on fast to this cattleman from the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, whose roots and sounds are steeped deep in the very soul of country music… and country life. Look out Tamworth, you are in for an absolute treat!
