Capitol VISITOR INFORMATION
Located right in the heart of Tamworth, the Capitol Theatre is Tamworth’s premier performing arts venue. Situated in the Entertainment Quarter of Centrepoint Shopping Centre on Level 1, the Capitol Theatre shares its foyer and bar with the Forum6 Cinema.
To make yours and other patrons visit a smooth and enjoyable one; please take note of the following information.
CAPITOL BOX OFFICE
10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 1 hour prior to performances.
With over 300 undercover car spaces in Centrepoint, parking for the Capitol Theatre couldn't be easier. During the day you receive 2 hours free parking after which a small fee is charged. You can have your card validated for an extra two hours at our box office but it must be done before your ticket expires - we suggest you see counter staff on arrival to get your parking ticket validated. Parking after 9pm is free. There are also over 100 Council car spaces adjacent to Centrepoint. There are three easy entry points - see map.
For your enjoyment, the Forum6 Cinema Bar, is located in the foyer of the Capitol Theatre and available 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. Beverage items are permitted in the theatre - so don't rush that beer or glass of wine...enjoy it in the theatre during the show.
FOR YOUR DINING PLEASURE - PRE-SHOW & POST-SHOW
For a delicious pre-show meal or after show supper, coffee and dessert, we suggest you visit our Season 2017 Partner - Quality Hotel Powerhouse.
Quality Hotel Powerhouse, has introduced a specialised Pre and Post Show Menu for audience members seeking fine food and speed of service prior to a show and a relaxing time after a show. Bookings can be made by calling 6766 7000 with the new Workshop Kitchen open seven days until late.

CAMERAS & RECORDING EQUIPMENT
At most events these are not permitted in the theatre during performances.
As a consideration to other patrons, please ensure that mobile phones are turned off while in the theatre.
Patrons arriving at the venue after the show has commenced will be admitted to the theatre when there is a suitable break in the program.
Full wheelchair access to the venue is available through Centrepoint Shopping Centre

Disabled toilets are located in the main foyer.
Designated disabled parking bays are available in the Centrepoint car park.
